Re: Apply Now for an Individual Scholarship        

Each year, the Chapter Presidents’ Council grants scholarship awards to individual members of chapters or affiliates that are in the CPC.  A Chapter/Affiliate Scholarship is also awarded.   This year the CPC will award up to $6,300 in individual scholarship funds. Maximum scholarship amount per individual will be $1,500.  GBTA has generously extended the early bird deadline for Convention Registration to June 15th for any scholarship recipient.

March 11, Scholarship Application opens
April 6, Scholarship Application closes
April 30 (on or before), winners annonuced

Who is Eligible: Any Direct or Allied Member in good standing with their local Chapter/Affiliate during the 2016 season.

The Fine Print:

  • One application per member may be submitted
  • Scholarship is valid for one (1) year from date of award
  • A member can only win a scholarship once every 2 years
  • Scholarships cannot be used for any competitor events (i.e. ACTE)
  • Scholarships will be reimbursed once the educational event has been paid for. Proper receipts for the event must accompany a GBTA expense report which must be submitted to Robert McKay at Once approved, the expense report will forwarded to the CPC Leadership for reimbursement from GBTA.
